What exactly does Faithful Feet Massage Oil help with?

Faithful Feet Massage Oil is a 100% natural, safe and effective formula consisting of essential aromatherapy oils for tired, sore and swollen feet that is safe during pregnancy.  Faithful Feet Massage Oil is for reflexology purposes and intended for foot massage.

What does Faithful Feet Massage Oil contain?

Faithful Feet Massage Oil contains the following 100% natural ingredients:

Litsea cubeba essential oil is derived from the small, pepper-shaped fruits of the May Chang plant and is used mostly for its anti-inflammatory and calming properties. This oil promotes healing and regeneration of skin and has a fresh, clean scent. It also treats fatigue, lethargy and insomnia.

Grapefruit (Citrus paradise) essential oil has a refreshing citrus scent and is wonderful for stimulating the lymphatic system, balancing fluid levels and removing toxins from the system. It is especially useful in treating water retention and swelling. Grapefruit oil also stimulates the central nervous system and addresses stress-related symptoms including headaches and exhaustion.

Ginger essential oil has the ability to clear any type of excess moisture or fluid in the body and is excellent for reducing swelling. It also alleviates pain and soothes aches and cramps. Ginger improves circulation and reduces fatigue.

How do I use Faithful Feet Massage Oil?

Place the bottle in receptacle of hot (not boiling) water to warm. Pour approximately 5 ml onto hands and massage slowly and gently onto the feet for 5 - 10 minutes. While you can do the massage yourself, it is even better if your partner massages your feet for you, allowing you to relax, close your eyes and fully benefit from the therapeutic effects of the oils combined with a soothing foot massage.

In what form does Faithful Feet Massage Oil come?

Faithful Feet Massage Oil consists of a blend of essential aromatherapy oils that is massaged on topically.

What is the shelf life?

You will find a white sticker under the bottle with the expiry date on it. It is best stored in a cool dark place out of direct sunlight.

Does Faithful Feet Massage Oil have any side effects?

No, Faithful Feet Massage Oil does not have any side effects as it is 100% natural.

Why do my feet swell during pregnancy?

During pregnancy, extra fluid is retained and can cause swelling of the tissues or "edema". Edema is usually most pronounced in the legs and feet as fluid tends to pools in these areas. Your growing baby and uterus put pressure on the vessels that drain blood and fluid from your legs, slowing circulation and leading to tissue edema in the legs and feet.

How safe during pregnancy are the essential oils in your Faithful Feet products?

You can rest assured that all of the essential oils used in our FaithfulFeet Massage Oil are completely safe to use during pregnancy and will have only positive effects on the expecting-mom and unborn baby.

What else can I do?

There are a number of other things that can be done to reduce pain and swelling of the feet during pregnancy. Here are some of the best, time-tested measures:

Sleep on your left side to prevent the uterus putting pressure on the heart and major blood vessels.

Keep your feet and legs raised as much as possible.

When seated, move your feet around by wiggling your toes, pointing and flexing the feet and rotating the ankles. This will keep the circulation moving.

Avoid salt, drink plenty of water and keep up with gentle exercise as recommended by your health practitioner.
